Grace’s Story

“Keep living and fighting for everyone who never got the chance to.”

Share your stigma experience.

I was diagnosed in 6th grade with depression and severe social anxiety, anxiety of which i never got over. But little by little, i started feeling better about myself as the people i loved surrounded me with help and love. Sometimes i still fall into depressive episodes and i still do have major anxiety attacks, but they have lessened and im happy for that.

How did you overcome this experience?

I surrounded myself with people I KNOW I can trust. Got new hobbies, and know when i need to have me time. Baby steps.

Help others by sharing a brief, positive message.

I know it feels like crap right now. I know how hard it is. I may not have been in the same situation as you, maybe i have and handled it differently, but it gets BETTER. Keep living and fighting for everyone who never got the chance to.
