When I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and Bipolar II, I felt more judgment than I ever had before. Reading things online made people with BPD as if they were crazy, terrible people, and to not be around them. I’ve felt that I am a crazy person, and no one would ever want to be close to me because of the emotions that I struggle to maintain.
How did you overcome this experience?
I’ve tried to speak out; sharing educational articles on my social media pages to help tell them about who I am. I am a good person, with a brain that is wired differently. I hope they pass them along to their pages as well.
