Kristi’s Story

“…it is ok to ask for help!”

Share your stigma experience.

PTSD I did not realize I suffer from this but due to the trauma from my daughter’s death and how it happened, I found myself suffering from anxiety and depression when thinking about the day she died and reliving the day and surrounding events. I thought PTSD was for others, not me.

How did you overcome this experience?

I am currently in therapy going through EMDR training to work through the triggers that make my PTSD worse and help me deal with the anxiety and help me get through and deal better with my grief know what is a healthy way of dealing with grief and what is PTSD triggers.

Help others by sharing a brief, positive message.
