Ldog’s Story

“Never give up if someone tells you to sit down and shut up.”

Share your stigma experience.

I am a victim of early childhood abuse. I am told to shut up and sit down and not share about my PTSD, depression and anxiety ticks. I have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. Half the time I want someone to just listen and these days that’s rare to find. I’m grateful for this campaign to make it ok for people like me to share our struggles so we won’t feel so alone anymore.

How did you overcome this experience?

I started getting out of myself, my thoughts and started giving back to others in my community at the YMCA.

Help others by sharing a brief, positive message.

Never give up if someone tells you to sit down and shut up. Tell someone else because you matter whether others see it or not!
