Chris’ story

“People with Borderline are not dangerous.”

What kind of stigma did you experience/observe?

I have Borderline Personality Disorder, BPD which was diagnosed at a late age. Truly few people understand it, or me. People with Borderline are not dangerous. We need love. There are good resources for people to learn about us. Because of my family’s ignorance, I live alone. This makes my recovery difficult, but I am determined.

How did you overcome this experience?

Daily I work towards recovery in part hoping my love ones will return

Help others by sharing a brief, positive message.
